A LAPTOP and tools were among the items stolen in thefts from vehicles in Limerick city.

Sergeant Michelle O’Halloran, Crime Prevention Officer of Henry Street Garda Station said: “Overnight between Friday the 19th and Saturday the 20th of September, a tradesman’s van was targeted at Potato Market, Merchant’s Quay, and tools were stolen.”

Sgt O'Halloran continued: “Then on Saturday, the 20th of September, at around 3.50 in the afternoon, a car parked at Clancy Strand had its window smashed and a laptop along with other items taken.

“Both matters are under investigation by Gardai at Henry Street.”
