APPROXIMATELY €5,700 worth of suspect methamphetamine was seized in Limerick by An Garda Síochána following searches carried out on domestic residences.
Two dogs, a number of vehicles, and a quantity of cash were also seized.
Gardaí from the Limerick Divisional Drugs Unit, assisted by the Armed Support Unit, Henry Street Community Policing and other members, conducted a search operation on Thursday, September 18.
This was carried out as part of ongoing investigations targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in Limerick.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said: "A number of domestic residences were searched resulting in the seizure of approximately €5,700 worth of suspect methamphetamine, a small quantity of suspect heroin and other drug paraphernalia.
"A quantity of cash and a number of vehicles were also seized, along with two dogs."
The spokesperson confirmed that "investigations are ongoing" and that all drugs seized will be forwarded to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis.
