A MAN has been arrested over a spate of thefts from cars in the Castletroy area, Limerick Live has learned.
The operation was led by the Community Policing Team in Henry Street garda station, along with gardai attached to Castleconnell.

A garda spokesperson said gardaí conducted a search, under warrant, of a residence in Castletroy on Wednesday, August 20, as part of ongoing investigations into a number of thefts in Limerick," said a garda spokesperson.
A man, aged in his 30s, was arrested and detained at a garda station in Limerick city under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
“He has since been charged and is due to appear before a sitting of Nenagh District Court at 11am tomorrow, Friday, August 22. Investigations are ongoing, said a garda spokesperson.
