Man to appear in court for burglary of retail premises in Limerick

A MAN in his 30s is to appear in court in Limerick charged in connection with a burglary of a retail premises.

The man is set to appear before a sitting of Limerick District Court this Wednesday morning, May 7, charged in connection with a burglary in Limerick city on February 23, 2025.

The investigation was initiated by gardaí at Henry St garda station, following reports of an overnight burglary at a retail premises on Mungret St.

A safe containing a sum of cash was taken from the premises following forced entry.

As part of the investigation, a man was arrested by investigating gardaí on Tuesday, May 6.
He was detained at a garda station in Co Limerick and later charged, gardaí have confirmed.
