THE THEFT of "expensive tools” from a construction site in Limerick is now being investigated by gardaí.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward regarding the theft of tools from a building site on Upper Cecil St in the city on Sunday, April 13, shortly after 2am.
“Two thieves entered the building site, gaining entry by forcing through a gap in the surrounding gates,” said Sergeant Michelle O’Halloran, Crime Prevention Officer, Henry St garda station.

“The target of this burglary was tools, with the thieves leaving the scene with expensive tools.”
Gardaí in Henry St are investigating and are appealing for anyone who may have observed two males acting suspiciously in or around the Lower Cecil Street and surrounding areas to contact them on 061 212 400.
