The court heard that Mr Fogarty faces a “miscellany of charges” including dangerous driving causing the death of Joe Drennan, which State barrister John O'Sullivan described as a case of “very considerable sensitivity.”
He told the court that a jury will not be required and he's hopeful that matters will be progressed.
All matters and charges are expected to travel through the courts together.
Mr Fogarty was remanded in continuing custody to October 7, when the case will be up for mention again.
