AN investigation is underway following a significant drugs seizure during a garda operation in Limerick city.
Suspected cannabis, with an estimated street value of €8,000, was seized on Monday when a house was searched at John Carew Park, in Southill.
The search, which was lead by gardai from Roxboro Road, took place at approximately 3pm.
The drugs seized have been sent technical examination.
A garda spokesperson told Limerick Live: "No arrests have been made, investigations are ongoing."
