UPDATE: Further power outages in Kildare

Power outages affecting areas in County Limerick

ESB Networks would like to inform customers that planned outages to facilitate network upgrades in Newcastle West and the surrounding areas are scheduled to take place between the hours of 9am and 5pm on Thursday and Friday.

As part of an investment in excess of €200,000, these essential upgrades will see electricity poles replaced, providing a more resilient network for customers, ensure more protection against severe weather events and overall, provide a better quality of service for customers.

All customers impacted by planned outages will be notified in advance via post and SMS with the time and date of the outage in their locality.
