Transport for Ireland has launched the new Anseo bus service
THIS week sees a new chapter in travel begin in Limerick.
TFI Anseo, a new demand-responsive transport service started on Monday, October 13, initially in Corbally, Rhebogue and the Mill Road areas of the city.
Passengers in these areas will be able to book trips easily using a special mobile telephone app, and in most cases, will be picked up close to their home.

All journeys are projected to cost under €3, the National Transport Authority (NTA) has said.
Corbally, Rhebogue and Mill Road have traditionally not been particularly well catered for on Limerick’s public bus network, and it’s hoped this could bridge the gap.
A pilot service, TFI Anseo, will run in these parts of Limerick on a 12-month basis initially.
Operating seven days a week, the service will utilise clearly branded TFI Anseo vehicles.
Local Link Limerick-Clare drivers will provide the vehicles.
