It was Joe himself who came up with the idea of organising a fundraising tractor run for Milford Care Centre due to the great care he received there.
His family, neighbours and friends took up the mantle after his death and organised the Joe Wright Memorial Run.
Registration starts at 11am in the parochial hall in Herbertstown with the tractor run commencing at 1pm. A children’s pedal tractor run takes place at 12.30pm. For more information see the event’s Facebook page
This year's beneficiaries are Milford Care Centre, Carebright and Breast Cancer Ireland.
