The route is a 40km loop with various short cut options for those who don’t get on a saddle too often. Refreshments will be served after the cycle courtesy of Boher Community Development Association.
The community group started the event in 2013 to honour Ciara’s (pictured below) memory after she was cruelly taken from her loving family at just seven years of age.
To date, over €40,000 has been raised for Cliona’s Foundation, who supported the McCarthy family during Ciara’s illness, and help countless other children and families.
The cycle had to be cancelled in 2020 due to Covid, but a virtual version took place in 2021 and it has been back to normal since 2022.
Entry is by donation which can be made through an iDonate link or QR Scan on Boher Facebook page.
All are welcome.
