Sarah Lavin helping to launch the Milford Care Centre 10km run/walk
IRISH Olympic flag bearer Sarah Lavin has officially launched Milford Care Centre's annual 10km run/walk fundraiser.
As Milford Care Centre's ambassador and longstanding advocate and supporter, the Lisnagry native expressed her commitment to this cause.
"I am excited to support and raise awareness for the crucial work done by Milford Care Centre. It is incredibly important and brings great value to the Mid-West region. I urge everyone to help Milford in raising the necessary funds for their services,” said Sarah.
Now celebrating its 13th year of running, the event will be operating both in a physical and virtual capacity, giving participants the opportunity to take part in the event starting on the grounds of the University of Limerick or within their own locality and around the world in the virtual event on Sunday, February 16. Supported by Dell Technologies and Stryker, participants of all levels and abilities are welcome, with all proceeds supporting the work of Milford Care Centre Mid-West.
CEO of Milford Care Centre, Mary O'Brien, conveyed her gratitude to Dell and Stryker for their support of this event and her appreciation of the participants taking part.

Register before Friday, January 31 to receive the early bird rate of €20, registration is €25 thereafter.
