OBJECTIVES for the future of Limerick as per the Mayoral Programme 2024 - 2029 have been discussed once again at Limerick City and County Council headquarters, Merchant's Quay.

The Limerick Mayoral Advisory and Implementation Committee convened this Tuesday, January 14, for its fourth meeting which is understood to have "marked a significant milestone" in the ongoing efforts to implement programme objectives.

The committee, which meets quarterly, is dedicated to reviewing progress and ensuring the effective delivery of the programme's goals. To address specific areas of work, the committee will establish subcommittees as needed.

Mayor Moran is seeking the formation of at least three implementation subcommittees.

Mayor Moran is enthusiastic about the committee's potential impact, saying: "This marks a significant step forward in our efforts to drive sustainable and inclusive growth right across Limerick.

"I am grateful to each of the members for accepting my invite to shape the future of Limerick. This innovative statutory committee allows strategic discussion involving the Executive, elected councillors and representatives of civil society.

"By harnessing the expertise and dedication of our committee members, I aim to create a more liveable, prosperous, and healthy Limerick with transparent and effective delivery at its core."
