Gardai have issued an appeal for information on the whereabouts of a teenage girl from Limerick city who has not been seen for over a week.

Gardai have issued an appeal for information on the whereabouts of a teenage girl from Limerick city who has not been seen for over a week.

15-year-old Eileen Delaney was last seen in Limerick on the afternoon of Sunday, November 17.

Eileen is described as 5ft 5inches in height, of slim build and has shoulder length blonde hair.

Her eyes are blue in colour and when last seen Eileen was wearing a white jumper, white jeans with denim braces and navy lace boots.

She was last seen in the Clare Street area in the city centre and Superintendent Dan Keane of Henry Street said gardai “are concerned for her safety”.

He appealed for anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Eileen to contact Henry Street garda station on (061) 212400 or the Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
