My week with Celia Holman Lee: Invited as a guest to choose the best!

ONE OF my favourite days out has to be a race day, and absolutely nothing beats an autumnal day of fabulous fashion and fun at Limerick Racecourse.

I had the privilege of being on not one, but two, judging panels in the past week. 

I also attended the Hi Style Aesthetic Awards 2024, and being invited to sit on the panel was a true honour!

Taking a look back on race day which was the first event of the week, I have to say that there is something truly unique about it being on our doorstep in Patrickswell. 

Having attended not just as a spectator, but as part of the judging panel for the highly-anticipated Best Dressed competition was delightful. 

We also hosted a fashion show in the Greenmount Suite, which saw local and regional designers showcase stunning pieces from their latest collections.

Race day fashion in and of itself is always something to behold, with guests in their finest attire. From bold hats to sleek dresses and sharp suits, the style was nothing short of breathtaking.

The creativity and effort everyone put into their looks was inspiring, making the decision to crown a winner incredibly challenging! 

Congratulations to all winners on the day.

After a day filled with race day magic, I headed to the Hi Style Aesthetics Awards on the Sunday, battling Storm Ashley on our way to Cork as we went!

As part of the judging panel, I had the privilege of recognising the outstanding talent of the aesthetic industry across the country. 

It was an evening of pride for me, seeing how much expertise is thriving here at home.

The entire week was a reminder of how vibrant our local fashion scene is and how exceptional Irish professionalism can be. 

From the racecourse to the awards stage, it was a week that combined glamour, expertise, and a shared love of style.
