ALL seven Limerick sides were in action this weekend in the Men's Energia All-Ireland League.

DIVISION 1A

Lansdowne 31 - 13 Young Munster, Aviva Stadium Back Pitch

In Division 1A, Young Munster's play-off hopes were dealt a cruel blow in the capital, losing out by 18 points to Lansdowne at the Aviva Stadium back pitch.

The result keep Ger Slattery's side sixth in the 1A table.

Garryowen 31 - 28 Blackrock College, Dooradoyle

In Division 1B, Garryowen secured a precious three-point win over Blackrock College in Dooradoyle.

The Limerick side produced a masterful comeback in the second half to get over the line, having been down 21-5 at the interval.

The result keeps Garryowen fifth in the 1B table.

Shannon 23 - 19 Dungannon, Thomond Park

In Division 2A, Shannon secured a vital 23-19 win over Dungannon at the Thomond Park back pitch. The Limerick side had founf themselves three points behind at half-time but managed to produce a fine second half display to eke out a four-point winning margin.

The result keeps Shannon in third position in the 2A table, three points behind Dungannon who occupy second place.

Also in Division 2A, Old Crescent were edged by MU Barnhall at Takumi Park. The away side did hold a commanding 14-point half-time lead but to the Limerick side's credit, they dug in in the second half and almost produced an admirable comeback.

The result leaves Old Crescent sitting ninth in the 2A table on 25 points.

In Division 2B, UL Bohemian were narrowly beaten by Raimey RFC at Hatrick Park. 'Bohs' found themselves 18-points down at the break but came close to pulling off a stunning second-half comeback, ultimately coming up just short.

The result leaves the Limerick side sitting third in the 2A table, four points behind second place Clogher Valley.

In Division 2C, Bruff were beaten at the hands of Ballyclare at Kilballyowen Park on a scoreline of 34-19. Bruff left themselves too much to do in the second period having been 17-0 down at the break.

The result leaves Bruff sitting seventh in the 2C table.

Also in Division 2C, Thomond scored a vital win over Malahide at Liam Fitzgerald Park. The Limerick side went in at the break 19-10 in front and managed to control proceedings in the second half to secure a 34-24 win at Liam Fitzgerald Park.

The result keeps Thomond third in the 2C table, one point behind second place Bective Rangers.
