PICTURES: Cheering on Thomond RFC in All-Ireland League qualifier

MUNSTER Junior League Division 1 champions Thomond RFC took on Bective Rangers in their All-Ireland League play-off fixture at Cill Dara RFC on Saturday last.

Back-to-back Munster Junior League champions Thomond suffered a 39-34 defeat to Bective in a high-scoring fixture.

All is not lost for Thomond, however, as the Limerick side can still secure their return to Division 2C of the All-Ireland League for next season should they manage to overcome Omagh Academicals in a play-off game later this month.
