A Christmas message from the Limerick Leader / Limerick Live team

Wishing all our readers, near and far, a Merry Christmas

As CHRISTMAS Day approaches, we at the Limerick Leader / Limerick Live would like to take a moment to extend our warmest wishes to all our readers and advertisers, near and far.

Once again, this past year, we’ve been privileged to share countless stories from your communities - stories of resilience, community spirit and inspiring achievements, from schools raising Green Flags to winning the BT Young Scientist award.

You’ve trusted us with your tributes to lost loved ones and given us access to the most special moments in your life - from births to weddings and new jobs.

While sharing life’s brighter moments, we also carry the responsibility of telling stories of its darker sides— shining a light where it’s needed, which we will continue to do in 2025.

Our next paper is on sale from New Year’s Day, Wednesday, January 1 - and, in it, we will be taking a look back at some of the big stories locally from 2024 and it will also feature our annual quiz with a tasty prize up for grabs!

In the meantime, don’t forget to log onto our award-winning website limericklive.ie and follow our social media accounts where we will be publishing plenty of fresh content continuously over the holiday period, along with breaking news and sport including the four-day Mr Binman Limerick Christmas Racing Festival starting on St Stephen's Day, and Munster V Leinster in the URC at a sold-out Thomond Park on Friday.

Thank you for making us a part of your daily lives in 2024. Your continued readership and support is much appreciated.

From all of us at the Limerick Leader / Limerick Live, we wish you a Christmas filled with peace, and the simple pleasures.

Merry Christmas!
