My Week: Springing ahead with fashion plans

I was glad to join Lorraine Keane, Margaret Neilson (Dublin104) and Annette Rocca at the launch of Peter O’Brien’s spring/summer collection in Dublin

I headed to Dublin last week to visit my good friend Peter O’Brien for the launch of his spring/summer collection.

It did not disappoint, Peter has a signature look of phenomenal tailoring from coats to beautiful dresses, to really soft bang on trend knitwear and among my favourites were his magnificent flowing skirts.

I met Peter many years ago when I did a photoshoot for him for Tatler magazine and we have remained colleagues ever since, and I was delighted to see that it was wall to wall fashionistas at his show.

It was also great to catch up with Lorraine Keane who is doing phenomenal charity work with a concept called Fashion, Fame and Charity.

The charity is a great idea, for instance, if you want to pick up a piece from Saoirse Ronan’s or say Vogue Williams’ wardrobe, a number of famous faces at donating items to the charity auction

This brilliant event will take place at Dundrum Town Centre soon with pieces being contributed by James Patrice, Miriam O’Callaghan Mia Doherty and my old friend Noel Cunningham.

Rosey thinking

On another note , I really enjoyed my stint at RTE Cork with

It's always good to have a chat with Maura and Daithi. When I chat with Daithi it's always about The Rose of Tralee which is celebrating it's 60th year this year and we are so looking forward to the fashion show and spending a few days in Tralee.

Chat to you next week

xx Celia
