I'm pictured here with pupils from Laurel Hill secondary school and Laurel Hill Colaiste having fun at the launch of the Laurel Hill fashion show which will take place on March 7 at 7.30pm in the Stra
THERE is one show that I really look forward to every year and that is the Laurel Hill schools annual fashion extravaganza.
It is a fantastic opportunity for the boutiques and fashion houses in the city to showcase their spring summer collections. It is a fashion show that has been one of the highlights on the fashion calendar in the city for as long as I can remember. It is a joint venture run by the parents council of Laurel Hill secondary school and Laurel Hill Colaiste.
The show is also a great opportunity for some of the students to take to the catwalk for the first time and have some fun. It takes place in the Strand Hotel on Thursday, March 7 at 7.30.
Tickets are priced at €15 and are available from both schools. I hope you will come and join us on the night.
ON another note yours truly will be hosting MaxMara workshops in Brown Thomas Limerick this Saturday at 12 noon, 1.30pm and 3pm. It is always a great occasion to start shopping for your spring/summer wardrobe.
I hope you will come and join me for a glass of bubbly and enjoy the fashion shows and style talks from one of the world's leading fashion brands.
