The style stakes were sky high at Limerick Racecourse on Friday, December 28 as ladies gathered for the Sunway Holidays Most Stylish Ladies competition
WHAT a fantastic turnout there was at Limerick Racecourse last week for the Sunway Holidays Most Stylish Lady competition. The style stakes were through the roof!
There was a magnificent selection of hats in a variety of colours and styles and the ladies really nailed it when it came to coats, beautiful winter dresses and capes. The accessories from the shoes to the bags to the wonderful faux fur stoles and jackets really ‘stole’ the show. And one woman really had it all in terms of her exceptional style.
Carita Conway from Castleconnell walked away with a holiday for two people to Lanzarote for seven nights including flights. She looked out of this world. Congratulations to everyone who took part in the wonderful event at Greenmount Park.
THERE are lots of things I love about Christmas. The pantomime at the University of Limerick Concert Hall is one occasion that I will not miss. I attended this year’s production of Snow White with two of my grandchildren, Erika and Tommy and my daughter-in-law Asta and we absolutely loved it. The cast were brilliant. Katherine Lynch is outstanding as the wicked queen and of course Richard Lynch and Myles Breen are doing an amazing job as always.
If you haven’t been, make sure you get to see it before it ends, it is a wonderful pantomime with a wonderful cast.
ON another note, on January 12 and 13, the biggest and longest running bridal event, the Mid West Bridal Exhibition takes place at the University of Limerick Sports Arena. If you are planning to tie the knot in 2019/2020 or have recently got engaged then everything you need to make your day extra special will be under the one roof. I will be hosting the event with our special guest Michelle Regazolli (Mrs Makeup).
Chat to you all next week.
