My Week: Limerick ladies put on some ritzy racing

I'm pictured here with TV personality and style icon Lorraine Keane with Ladies Day winner Laura Hanlon from Fuerty, Roscommon and Aidan Lyddy, Keanes Jewellers at Ladies Day at Limerick Racecourse o

WHO better than TV personality and style icon Lorraine Keane to judge the very special Ladies Day competition which took place in the new fashion zone of Limerick Racecourse on Sunday.

The style worn by the ladies in the fashion and accessories area of the venue was simply out of this world which made choosing the winner extremely difficult. But it was a very fashionable lady from County Roscommon named Laura Hanlon who stole the show.

Dressed in a stunning pale pink dress and an amazing headpiece - that she made herself - Laura walked away with first prize of a diamond ring from Keanes Jewellers Limerick worth €4,000.

The new fashion zone that was specially designed for ladies day and also for the fashion show with participating fashion stores and designers from all over the region which went down a treat with everyone involved.

So well done to all at the Limerick Racecourse for another terrific afternoon of fashion and sport!

G Boutique

I WAS delighted to made a trip out to Newcastle West for the opening of the new G boutique.

It is a beautiful premises with fantastic fashion but what really impressed me was the brand new coffee shop at the rear of the fashion store which specialises in the best coffees from around the world.

The atmosphere in the store was magical on the night as guests arrived to wish Siobhan and Mike Walsh huge success on their venture.

Also there to wish mom and dad the best of luck were their three adorable daughters Lauren, Isabelle and Beth.

I love supporting local business and I wish them all the very best of luck!
