Muireann is making her name

HOW welcomed I felt recently by one of Limerick’s very successful TV and radio presenters Muireann O’Connell, when I appeared on The Six O’Clock Show on TV3.

I find in my later years that anyone who has any connection with Limerick makes me feel so welcome.

Live television isn’t always the easiest to do when you are being interviewed, as it can be quite daunting and you are always aware that you might say the wrong thing, but this was a very easy and relaxed show to appear on.

Muireann is really rocking it at the moment, having taken over the radio show recently from Al Porter on Today FM, and also working as co-presenter on The Six O’Clock Show. Limerick should be very proud of her, and had she ever decided to take the route of modelling she would have made it right to the top - she is a stunning girl.

Last week, I attended the Brown Thomas Spring/Summer fashion show at their show in Dublin. All the top brass in fashion journalism and influencers were also in attendance. As we viewed some of the world’s top fashion labels, I was more than impressed at what spring has to offer.

From the wonderful dresses, especially the ‘shirt dress’, to the incredible blouses, to the beautiful coats in amazing fabrics - the colours were spectacular.
