Afternoon Tea for a good cause

I AM always delighted to add my support to a good cause and that’s exactly what Afternoon Tea is!

There was a fantastic turnout for the launch of the event which is being organised in association with Limerick’s Live 95fm, the Children's Ark at University Hospital Limerick, the Neonatal Unit, University Maternity Hospital and CARI.

Last year was the first time this incredible afternoon tea event was hosted. It was such a huge success that they're returning this year with the Brown Thomas Autumn/Winter Collection which is to be showcased by the Holman Lee Agency. This event will be held on Sunday, September 18 at 3pm and once again Catriona Tierney from Limerick’s Live 95fm will MC the event.

Along with hosting a raffle and securing spot prizes, the organising committee have decided to have a special prize for the winner of the Best Dressed Lady competition. The fabulous Siobhan Condon who is part of the organising committee along with Noeleen McLoughlin were thrilled with the turnout at The Strand last Tuesday evening.

Tickets are available by contacting Noeleen McLoughlin via email at nmjmcl@hotmail.com or via telephone at 0874171438 or 0863491008.

Ireland AM appearance

DID we have a summer or not?

I'm beginning to wonder. All I know is that autumn is almost upon us and it’s time to get our wardrobe ready.

With that in mind, we decided to pop out to the Crescent Shopping Centre for a peek. We decided to dress the whole family there and then we showcased the gorgeous looks on Ireland AM last Monday morning.

It was the first time that my daughter-in-law and my two grandchildren, Erika and Ryan, appeared on the TV show together. It all went extremely well. I was very proud of my two beautiful little grandchildren!
