Hitting the road for style events

I was recently invited to the fabulous Mount Juliet Estate in Kilkenny for a style talk and fashion show for 300 extremely fashionable ladies.

I find in the last number of years that there is a trend towards these types of evenings, where the audience can enjoy a fashion show, style tips, tips on hair, make-up and diet and afterwards the ladies can shop if they wish.

Mount Juliet golf course, which was designed by Jack Nicklaus has hosted the 2002 and 2004 American Express World Golf Championships, which were won by Tiger Woods and Ernie Els respectively, and has also have hosted the Irish Open championships.

The house itself is an architectural gem, and one of the most beautiful period houses that I have had the pleasure to visit.

My next port of call was to Brown Thomas in Dublin to attend Create 2016.

Create 2016 is a showcase of Irish designers with some of the most exciting up-and-coming designers.

The designers who have been selected and mentored will have the unique opportunity to sit alongside the world’s most luxurious labels in their iconic Grafton Street store. Create 2016 is well worth a visit.
