I TOOK a beautiful trip down memory lane when I travelled to Newbridge Silverware’s Museum of Style Icons for the launch of the Audrey exhibition, which celebrates the life and times of Hollywood icon Audrey Hepburn.
A host of Ireland’s media and well -known faces gathered for this first curated in-house exhibition by the MOSI team which features one of the greatest private collections of Audrey Hepburn couture and paper memorabilia in the world.
I thoroughly enjoyed looking through the artefacts, but I also spotted a number of new exciting additions including items from The Kardashians, Mad Men stars and the one and only Joan Collins. Don’t forget that the museum boasts one of the world’s largest and most unique collections of style and cinema memorabilia including Princess Grace’s collection. It is certainly worth a visit!
It was lovely to catch up with my fellow colleagues Anne Doyle, Marietta Doran and, of course, MD of Newbridge Silverware, William Doyle. I also bumped into Darren Julien and Martin Nolan of Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills. It was a lovely evening, filled with great style, chats and lovely food.
For the past five weeks I have enjoyed my visits to Cork city for RTE’s Today Show in association with Oxendales.
I am delighted to work with Maura Derrane and Daithi O’Shea, who made me feel so at home with their hospitality. Oxendales, whom I am a brand ambassador for, decided to showcase their labels on Today Show as well as TV3’s Ireland AM.
What I really enjoy about working with Oxendales is that it gave me a chance to bring back all my fabulous models who started with us over 20 years ago as teenagers. They are now going down a treat with the RTE audience.
Long may that continue. You can see us live on Wednesday afternoons!
