WHAT a wonderful day we had in the beautiful surroundings of Dromoland Castle for the unveiling of the Brown Thomas spring summer 2016 collections.
On arrival, we were greeted with a glass of champagne and welcomed by the wonderful staff of Brown Thomas Limerick, headed by Liam Dwan. I have always loved the dining room in Dromoland as it brings back fond memories of my late mother and I enjoying afternoon tea together. The lunch, of course, was exceptional to say the least. As usual, the ladies in attendance looked absolutely amazing. After we all settled at our tables out came the models sporting some of the top fashion labels from around the world which are available in BT Limerick. Among the gorgeous models were two of Limerick’s top models Aoife Hannon and Ciara Buckley. For me the labels that stood out were MaxMara, Preen and Roland Mouret which I have loved for years. I was also impressed by Alice + Olivia and Victoria Beckham collections. Shoes and bags were the best I have seen in years. Jimmy Choos stole the show in the shoe department and Tom Ford and Chloe were my top picks from bags. We are very lucky to have these labels available in Brown Thomas Limerick.
Wedding fair up the country
IT was an early start last Sunday morning when we travelled in style on a mini bus up to Cavan town for Hotel Kilmore’s annual wedding fair.
It is a family-owned hotel run by Kate and Ross Mealiff who have done excellently in expanding the hotel to what it is today. It was a great experience to work with the likes of Erika’s Fashion from Cavan, Lady’s Day in Monaghan and Elegant Lady from Lisnaskea, Co Fermanagh to name but a few. As expected, the fair was very successful and the crowds enjoyed the fashion show produced by Holman Lee Agency.
Style Boot Camp
Finally, a one day style, image and deportment bootcamp will take place in the Castletroy Park Hotel this Saturday, March 19, run by Asta Lee and her team of professionals.
