My week with Celia Holman Lee: Limerick talent swept me away at the Gossies Style awards

For all those curious, my dress was from the bespoke Phoenix V shop in Cork - one of my favourite boutiques of all time!

My week with Celia Holman Lee: Limerick talent swept me away at the Gossies Style awards

Myself, Kathryn Thomas, and Muireann O'Connell had a fabulous night at The Gossies

The Gossies Style Awards was such a fabulous night!

I was delighted to be nominated for the category of most stylish woman.

The awards ceremony was a true celebration of all things Irish fashion and showcased a great diversity of styles - and included Limerick winners Chloe Koyce, an exceptionally talented celebrity makeup artist, and Sinead O'Brien, another great Limerick businesswoman.

It was just fabulous to mingle at such a fantastic event with natives of the Treaty City.

I was also delighted to appear on The RTÉ Today Show, where we had the most wonderful opportunity to showcase some fabulous looks from incredibly talented Irish designers. And let me tell you, the style coming out of Ireland right now is simply sensational.

We focused on pieces that are not only beautiful but wearable - fashion that real women can enjoy and feel confident in. I always say fashion should lift your mood, and these designers’ pieces felt like a ray of sunshine.

The Holman Lee models looked fantastic as they stepped out in a mix of structured blazers, flowing fabrics and statement accessories.

I have such pride in being able to highlight local talent, and the response from viewers is always lovely. People are always keen to support Irish design, and rightly so.

Across the industry, there’s a real sense of creativity and optimism right now, which is wonderful to see.

If there’s one thing I’d say to those considering what to wear, I always say don’t be afraid to try something new. Fashion should be enjoyable, and supporting our own local designers’ creativity and skill makes it all the more meaningful.
