My Week with Celia Holman Lee: ‘So grateful for tribute from local ladies!’

THIS PAST weekend, the elegant Limerick Strand Hotel played host to a truly empowering experience, the grand finale of a remarkable three-part conference series led by the incomparable Professor Mary Ryan.

The atmosphere was electric - filled with purpose, passion, and positivity, as women from all walks of life came together to share, learn, and uplift one another.

It was a weekend dedicated to empowering women, not just in spirit, but in health. The focus of these events was hormonal health - before, during, and after menopause, a subject too often left in the shadows.

The knowledge shared was invaluable!

There was an undeniable sense of sisterhood, women supporting women, learning from one another, and reclaiming their health and confidence.

For me personally, the weekend held an unforgettable moment.

I was deeply honoured to be presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of my contribution to the fashion industry.

The award presentation was incredibly special, with Marion Murphy Cooney, Caroline Mitchell, Dr Mary Ryan, and Oonagh O’Hagan, each having played a part in the beautiful presentation.

The award itself was a true work of art, thoughtfully crafted by Gerard Fahy from Loughrea, alongside a stunning Galway Crystal trophy commissioned by the Nenagh Watch Centre.

What made this weekend so unique was its seamless blend of glamour and groundedness, a tribute to beauty not just on the outside, but from within.
