THERE’S nothing quite like the thrill of a live in-store fashion showcase and I recently had the pleasure of MCing one for one of Limerick’s most beloved boutiques - Ivory Lane.
As a model agent in the industry for 60 years, I spent my days scouting and mentoring, but now, stepping into the role of host at intimate affairs like these, it is a different kind of magic.
Ivory Lane based in Castletroy Shopping Centre, is a long-standing gem known for its timeless and on-trend pieces. And it transformed into a runway of its own.
With every Holman Lee Agency model that stepped forward, the room came alive to the rustle of silk, the elegance of a well-tailored blazer, the effortless charm of a flowing dress.

Fashion isn’t just about the clothes.
It’s about the energy they create, the confidence they inspire. The models brought the boutique’s collection to life.
No raised stage, no distant catwalk, just real people moving through the space, giving guests an up-close, personal look at how the garments move, and breathe.
Throughout the night, I shared insights on posture and how to pose, offering small but powerful adjustments to help the audience exude confidence.
I sprinkled in positive affirmations, reminding everyone that fashion is about celebrating individuality.
By the end of the night, champagne glasses clinked, pieces flew off the racks, and new style stories were set in motion.
As I closed the event, I couldn’t help but feel grateful to be part of an industry that never stops inspiring.
Here’s to many more nights of fashion, flair, and unforgettable moments.
