Doing what I do best - shopping! I had a wonderful time browsing the January sales on offer in Limerick city and purchased a few bargains over the weekend. Here, I am at Glitzi Bitz, Cruises St
WHY SHOP anywhere but Limerick city, when we have five-star sales on our doorstep?
There is up to 50% and 60% off in Limerick city’s best department stores and boutiques, and I snapped up some bargains!
The January sales are just as exciting as Christmas in my eyes, as we move into a new year we move into a new style season and plenty of opportunities to reinvent our wardrobes.
There is incredible value to be gotten at the moment, and we in Limerick don’t often appreciate the fashion at our feet.
I truly believe Limerick is one of the best cities and counties in Ireland for style, as we have a wide range of choice for both mens and womens clothes.
My husband Ger and I snatched up some steals in places such as White Feather Boutique, Connolly Man, Superdry, Brown Thomas and Flax in Bloom.
There was beautiful knitwear available in White Feather Boutique, as well as cream and neutral coloured quilted coats in Flax in Bloom. All prices were reduced and on sale for amazing value, 60% and 70% off!
I picked up some accessories to go with my new staple pieces I got for a steal in Glitzi Bitz, a store with everything and anything, hair accessories, jewellery, handbags and even shoes!
Ger found a jacket on sale which was the perfect fit, as well as a coat in Brown Thomas for less than €100.
Having said that we may not always appreciate what we have, the city centre was very busy over the weekend, which was wonderful to see.
Shopping local is the better option for us all and giving back to the local economy makes sense, as we love to see business thrive!
I hope all my readers will take this opportunity to shop local and check out what Limerick retailers have to offer.
Back next week!
