All-Star Limerick hurler Kyle Hayes launches new business

Kildimo/Pallaskenry clubman played a key role as Limerick marched to another title
FRESH from helping Limerick gain their sixth All-Ireland senior hurling title in nine years, Kyle Hayes has announced the launch of his new business.
Hayes Farm Supplies, which will operate online only, stocks a wide range of farm essentials, including animal health products, fencing supplies, tools and everyday agricultural items.
It’s being described as a farm supply business, founded by a farmer, for farmers.
The company’s website - https://hayesfarmsupplies.ie/ - states that seven generations of his family, based in Kildimo, have farmed.
In an update to LinkedIn, the Kildimo-Pallaskenry clubman confirmed the launch of the business.
He wrote: “As a farmer myself, farming has always been a huge passion of mine. I understand the time constraints farmers face every day, which is why Hayes Farm Supplies operates completely online - making it quick and convienient to order essential farming products and have them delivered directly to your door.”
“Starting my own business is an exciting new chapter and I look forward to supporting farmers across Ireland. I'd really appreciate your support, whether that's visiting the website, sharing this post or spreading the word,” he added.
Kyle, who plays as a left-wing back, is one of the men who has been on John Kiely’s panel since 2018, and the advent of the senior hurling team’s glittering recent success.
He previously worked at the engineering firm Kirby Group and is a graduate of the University of Limerick.
He registered the farming supply business on Monday, May 25, and teased it a month later on the internet.
It’s not the Kildimo man’s first venture into entrepreneurship, with him co-founding a fast food business in 2024.
Bunda Brothers is a popular Limerick smash burger and chicken outlet owned by the company KDC Catering Limited.
Founded by Hayes and and fellow Limerick hurling star Darragh O'Donovan, the business operates a take-away in Dooradoyle alongside mobile food trucks.
