New partner appointed at well-known Limerick law company HOMS

LIMERICK law firm HOMS Assist has announced the appointment of a new partner.

University of Limerick graduate Claire Tuohy is taking on the role, in recognition of her expertise in wills, trusts, probate and cross-border estates.

She has worked for HOMS Assist since 2017 and specialises in private client law, advising individuals and families on complex succession and estate matters, including contentious probate and trust disputes.

Qualified to practice in Ireland, as well as England and Wales, Ms Tuohy holds a degree in law and European studies, as well as a diploma in the administration of trusts and estates.

She is also a member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (Step) an internationally recognised professional body for trust and estate practitioners.

A committee member of the Step Ireland branch, Ms Tuohy is a lecturer for the Law Society and Step Ireland diploma.
She also regularly presents on issues relevant to estate planning.
