TWO Abbeyfeale brothers are celebrating after winning a prize in a cross-border competition.
Nick and Jack Cotter founded Cotter Agritech in 2019.
The pair developed SmartWorm, a mobile app which uses technology to check the health of each animal.

It looks at things like the animal’s body and environment to decide, in real time, whether it needs parasite treatment or not.
Ultimately, the technology helps farmers treat only the animals that actually need medicine instead of giving it to the whole herd or flock, lessening the cost of medication.
The firm has won a bronze medal in the inaugural North-South Business Co-Operation Awards.
It was established by Easyjet founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou to celebrate entrepreneurship across the island.
The awards, which culminated in a high-profile ceremony at Castle Leslie Estate in Monaghan, saw a total of nine entrepreneurs and entrepreneur businesses in partnership, recognised for their outstanding achievements in building businesses that bridge communities in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.
Cotter Agritech was among the bronze winners, and pocketed a total of €25,000.
Sir Haji-Ioannou said: “This is a proud day for entrepreneurship on the island of Ireland. The winners we honour today show that when determination, innovation and creativity meet, borders become bridges.
“These entrepreneurs are not only building successful businesses - they are proving that collaboration across communities leads to prosperity for all. They are creating jobs, delivering services and setting an example for the next generation of entrepreneurs.
“I hope that their success today will encourage even more entrepreneurs to think ambitiously, work collaboratively, and see the entire island as a place of opportunity.”
Winners were selected from applicants which could demonstrate cross-border trade, achieving a minimum turnover of €200,000, and employing at least three staff members.
