Here, he advised high net-worth individuals and business clients.

In his new role, Mr Rael will focus on expanding Davy’s wealth management and financial planning services across the greater Limerick area, working directly with clients to deliver tailored investment strategies and advice.

Before joining Davy, he enjoyed a successful career as a professional rugby player with Munster and Connacht, retiring from professional rugby in 2014 due to injury.

Speaking on his appointment to the Limerick role, he commented: "We’re delighted to strengthen our commitment to the area by expanding our operations here and offering more support to local clients. Limerick is rapidly growing as an exciting hub for business, fuelled by major regeneration projections like Limerick 2030 and the Opera Square development. It’s fantastic to see it being recognised on the global stage, with Fortune 500 companies like Eli Lilly, Verizon and Regeneron expanding their presence here."

Established in 1926, the Davy Group is a provider of wealth management and financial planning services.

It has offices in Dublin, Belfast, Cork, Galway and London, England.

Davy manages more than €24 billion in assets across its discretionary and advisory portfolios and employs more than 900 people.
