A LOCAL logistics firm is set to double its footprint in Annacotty.

Fusion Logistics, a fourth-generation family-run logistics and transport provider has kicked off the construction of a new 100,000 square foot warehouse facility at its base in the Annacotty Business Park.

The expansion will almost double the firm’s existing capacity, and lead to the creation of new jobs.

Patrick Murrihy, managing director of Fusion Logistics, said: “This new facility is a testament to our long-standing commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer-focused solutions.”

Fusion Logistics says it offers distribution services across all sectors.

It has a client base in this region and beyond, with customers including Johnson & Johnson, Serosep, Teleflex Medical, Uniphar, and Ishka Irish Spring Water.

“Phase one of our logistics facility here in Annacotty will hold approximately 7,500 pallets, and on completion of phase two, that will rise to approximately, 15,000 pallets in total,” said Denis Murrihy, the firm’s operations manager.
