Ms McNamara’s business was founded in 2019 and is a luxury sustainable fashion brand.
Based at Aoife’s Cottage, a thatched building in Adare’s Main Street, its garments are inspired by nature, to protect nature.
Also in the mix for prizes are two other local companies.
Engineering firm H&MV, which is based at the National Technology Park in Plassey, has been nominated in two categories.
These are the overall ESG company award, and the innovation award.
Elsewhere, software firm Calqrisk, which is based in Shannon, has received a nomination in the innovation category for small to medium sized companies.
The winners will be revealed at a special luncheon awards ceremony on Thursday, April 10 in Dublin’s Mansion House.
Tracey Carney, the managing director of event organiser Business and Finance, said: “The calibre of entries for the awards reflects the remarkable strides taken by organisations across Ireland in integrating sustainability at the core of their business.”
