Ice swimmer Nuala Moore with her book, Limitless
NETWORK Ireland Limerick, a voluntary organisation which supports the professional and personal development of women, is showcasing women’s tenacity for sport at their upcoming event.
Swimmer and writer Nuala Moore has been chosen to speak to the group of women in business on the topic of teamwork in life and sport at the event in September. She will also discuss resilience and “how we all rely on each other”.
Ms Moore is an Irish extreme swimmer, ice swimmer, marathon swimmer, coach, author of Limitless and Insight Into The World Of Ice Swimming, and lecturer of Ocean Extreme Medicine.
The Dingle native is also a world record holder in ice swimming.

Fiona Doyle, the president of Network Ireland Limerick for 2024, said, “It is a great pleasure to welcome Nuala to Limerick to inspire our members with her story and to hopefully impart important knowledge on resilience, teamwork and of course self development”.
“Nuala’s inspiring story as a world record holder and her tale of resilience and how teamwork helps us all will continue our theme of growth and self knowledge for the year” she added.
The event with Nuala Moore, ‘The Ice Swimmer’, will be on in The Fitzgerald Woodlands House Hotel in Adare, on September 19 at 6.30pm. Tickets are available to register for members and non-members at www.networkireland.ie/Limerick.
