Marks & Spencer Food confirmed for new Limerick retail development

Work continue at the new Applegreen service station at Clondrinagh, which will host M&S Food

RETAIL giant, Marks & Spencer Food, are confirmed to be opening at the latest major development for Limerick.

Based in Clondrinagh, the multi-million euro development, reminiscent of the Obama Plaza, will comprise of a 650-square metre two-storey restaurant building, which will host Braeburn Coffee, M&S Food, Subway, and the Bakewell deli.

Additionally, the site will host a service-station forecourt, and a stand-alone 517sqm Burger King drive-thru.

The Applegreen location is due to open in early 2024, and the company is currently hiring in the hopes of bringing 80 to 100 jobs to the community. 

Operating around the clock, the service station would operate on a 24/7 basis, with the restaurant open between 6am and 10pm, documents previously submitted to Limerick City and County Council show.
