Limerick’s Anne Marie wins customer service award

Limerick woman Anne Marie Lyons is celebratimg after being named customer service person of the year at the annual Iarnród Éireann customer services awards.

Limerick woman Anne Marie Lyons is celebratimg after being named customer service person of the year at the annual Iarnród Éireann customer services awards.

Anne-Marie works in the Passenger Information Centre at Colbert Station in Limerick, dealing with passenger queries and coming up with revenue generating ideas.

Sean Lipper, Martin O’Brien and Denis O’Dwyer - who also work at Colbert Station - were nominated in the Station Staff category.

Anne-Marie along with the other nominees were nominated by their colleagues for their excellent customer service.

“Anne-Marie is proactive and makes suggestions to benefit customers; she is reliable and portrays a good image for the company,” read Anne Maries’ nomination form.

The awards are designed to acknowledge excellence in customer service within Iarnrod Eireann.
