LIMERICK gardai backed up by the Armed Support Unit are at the scene of a major incident in Rathkeale this Monday afternoon.
It is understood that six jeeps have been damaged as a result of ramming incidents.
"It was like dodgems," one local told Limerick Live.
A large crowd had gathered and it is believed that some altercations may also have taken place.
It is thought that when gardai arrived on the scene, near the fire station on the way into the town, the jeeps were unnoccupied.
The area has been cordoned off as gardai commence their investigation into exactly what occurred.
