HUNDREDS of people have gathered in Limerick city centre after rumours spread on social media that singer Dermot Kennedy is to make an impromptu appearance this Monday evening.
The crowds began congregating at Thomas Street and Bedford Row from around 3pm in the hope of catching a glimpse of the superstar, who recently announced he will perform three concerts at Thomond Park next July.
At one point heads turned and cameras flashed when a flashy sports car made its way from Little William Street to Thomas Street in what turned out to be a false alarm.
Is dermot Kennedy coming to sing or not on Bedford row in Limerick or is this a rumour ???!!! #dermotkennedy
