The man died at the Travelodge, Dublin Road
A POST mortem is to be carried out on the body of a man who was found dead at a hotel in the city.
The body of the man, who was aged in his early 30s, was discovered in a room at the Travelodge, Dublin Road at around midday this Saturday.
While gardai at Henry Street attended the scene and are investigating the circumstances of the man’s death there is nothing to suggest it was suspicious.
After the man was pronounced dead, his body was taken to University Hospital Limerick where the post mortem will be conducted.
As with all sudden deaths, a file is to be prepared for the city coroner and an inquest is expected to take place later in the year.
