Uisce Éireann are advising people that water will not return until 3pm or later
HEAVY rain overnight and into this morning appears to have caused havoc in one area, with a number of businesses and two primary schools closed, due to a burst water pipe, and a subsequent water outage.
The Uisce Éireann website has reports of water outages in four areas surrounding Charleville, near the Limerick border.
There are outages in Rathmorgan in Charleville, near Ballyhea, in Dromina and in Buttevant.

These are St Joseph's Infants School and St Anne's Primary School, both located on Smith's Lane, near the main street of the town.

It is believed that nearby St Mary's Secondary School, also on Smith's Lane, remains open and the creche and playschools in the town remain operational, with a water supply.
However, some businesses have been affected and many people who spoke to Limerick Live reported having no water at home before coming to work or experiencing very low water pressure in their workplace, while some have had to close.
According to Uisce Éireann, repairs to a burst water main may cause supply disruptions to Rathmorgan, Charleville and surrounds in Co. Cork.
Works to repair the burst water main were originally scheduled to take place until 3pm today (Thursday, October 2), but this has since been pushed out to 11pm and people are advised that it may take up to four hours for their water supply to fully return.
