The vehicle crashed into the entrance of a food establishment
EMERGENCY services have attended the scene of a vehicular incident on the outskirts of Limerick city.
The incident occurred at Newtown Centre, Annacotty this Wednesday afternoon shortly before 3pm.
The car was seen parked at the door of a restaurant, having crashed through the glass entrance to the food establishment.
Gardaí, ambulance and fire services attended the scene.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said: "Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a traffic incident at Annacotty, Co Limerick this afternoon, Wednesday, July 16, 2025."
The spokesperson confirmed that the incident occurred "shortly before 3pm".

An Garda Síochána also informed Limerick Live that there were "no reports of injuries".
This is the second incident this year reported on by Limerick Live in which a car entered a retail premises.
The first occurred in a store on Father Russell Road in Limerick city in January.
In that incident, the car crashed through the front of the store before coming to a stop in the middle of the shop floor. No one was injured.
