HALF a million euro has been won by one fortunate Limerick Lotto player.
Tuesday night's EuroMillions and Plus draw saw a player win big in Limerick, scooping €500,000 from a Quick Pick ticket.
The Limerick player purchased their ticket on the day of the draw from Cosgraves, Singland, Dublin Road, Castletroy.
The winning numbers in the EuroMillions Plus draw were 3, 19, 20, 23 and 28.

The National Lottery is urging all players in the Limerick area to check their tickets carefully and if you’re holding the winning ticket, be sure to contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222.
National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer said:
“The Castletroy player won an incredible €500,000 while the online player from Kildare matched five numbers to win €26,813 in the main draw.
“We are encouraging all players who purchased their ticket on the day of the draw at Cosgraves, Dublin Road, Castletroy, Co. Limerick to carefully check their tickets today and make contact with our prize claims team.”
While there was no winner of last night's EuroMillions jackpot, Friday’s draw rolls to an estimated €75 million.
Players dreaming of becoming Ireland’s newest EuroMillions winner are reminded that tickets for Friday’s draw can be purchased in-store, or through the National Lottery app or at http://www.lottery.ie.
