Limerick athlete Ciara Neville storms to new personal best time over 60m

LIMERICK sprinter Ciara Neville has set a new personal best time for the 60m indoors at the scottishathletics EAP Indoor International in Glasgow.

Neville, of Emerald AC, lowered her own personal best for the event which had stood since 2017, when clocking 7.28 to finish third in the Women’s 60m. The time meets the Athletics Ireland World Indoor Championship 'B' Standard.

Ciara Neville had opened her 2026 season with her fastest 60m clocked in five years, 7.32, at the Aarhus Sprint 'n' Jump meeting in Denmark earlier in January. The Limerick woman raced the final at that event later in the program finishing third in 7.33.
