The 2025 spooky season is kicking off in Croom as their Community Development Association is running their Annual Booo Bash.

The Booo Bash will take place on October 24, in Croom Sports Hall from 4pm to 5.15pm.

“This is one of our favourite events of the year, where children and their parents can join us for fun, games and spooky treats,” commented Patricia Ryan, CEO of Croom Community Development Association.

Ms Ryan added: "It has been wonderful in past years to see the creativity and imagination shine through with the costumes of the children and even some of the parents and their efforts will be recognised on the day with spot prizes for best dressed. It is a great show of community spirit."

Edel Fitzgerald from Croom Development commented:

"We look forward to welcoming everyone and it’s always a great day out, where everyone enjoys themselves and for us we see all the hard work that’s put into running these events come to fruition. Days like these are only possible with support from our community. This is one of a series of events hosted by CCDA through the year, adding to Croom’s busy social calendar."

Tickets cost €8 per child and can be purchased on www.cromadh.com/events. Adults go free. All are welcome to attend.
