FORMER Love Island winner and Limerick native, Greg O’Shea, has tied the knot with his partner Jeanni Mulder.

The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony on Monday, October 6, at House on Leeson Street in Dublin, the very venue where they had their first date.

Taking to Instagram to share the special moment, the newlyweds posted a series of heartfelt photos from the day.

The former Crescent College pupil captioned the post, "Mr. & Mrs. O’Shea."

Greg described the ceremony as “intimate, emotional & exactly what we wanted. Yesterday was the start of the rest of our lives as we tied the knot in front of our nearest and dearest.”

Fellow Limerick personalities were quick to send their well wishes, with Niamh de Brún and Shauna Lindsay among those commenting on the couple’s post to congratulate them on their wedding.

The pair announced their engagement on Instagram earlier this year, when Greg got down on one knee and asked the all-important question on New Years Eve in Jeanni's native South Africa.

He posted a video of the romantic proposal on Instagram showing the couple both donning white attire and counting in the new year before Greg knelt on one knee with an engagement ring. Greg said it was a "special way to start the new year" and that he was the "most nervous" he's ever been.
