WALKING On Cars play a second sold out show at Limerick’s Big Top venue this Sunday night, a quite impressive feat for the hugely popular five piece.
One of the biggest Irish bands of recent years are preparing to release debut album Everything This Way on January 29.
For a band to sell out two shows in the Milk Market in the same year, without having yet released an album, is a considerable achievement and indication of the Dingle group’s popularity.
The five piece of Patrick Sheehy, Sorcha Durham, Dan Devane, Paul Flannery and Evan Hadnett, are gearing up to release their much anticipated debut album with the backing of major label Virgin/EMI in January.
Neon Wolf are the support act on the night and doors open at 7pm.
It is a busy few weeks for Bookers Dolan’s as they play host to Ash and Paddy Casey in separate gigs this Saturday night, the Limerick City Big Band on Sunday, Rusangano Family and Declan O’Rourke on Monday night and - looking ahead - the Rubberbandits are back with their Christmas Fistfight show on Sunday December 27.
Our pick is the hip-hop/electro trio Rusangano Family, who play the Kasbah Social Club on Monday night. God Knows, MuRLI and MynameisjOhn are preparing to release debut album Let The Dead Bury The Dead early next year, one that will see them play major music trade shows in the US and Europe.
